Into His Harvest is situated in the Harvest City Church building (see photo below), a 56,000 square foot former high school located on six acres in a quiet residential area of north-central Regina (see MAP).

The neighbourhood offers a wide variety of services and many Harvest City Church building, home of Into His Harvesttypes of housing. The building, built in the mid-1970s and purchased by Harvest City in 2001, has a full-sized gym plus a well-equipped fitness room (see photo below).

The on-campus fitness roomRegina, the seat of government for the province of Saskatchewan, is a city of over 190,000. It is consistently rated as having one of the lowest cost-of-livings of any major Canadian city. It is also home to the University of Regina. Regina is the Canadian city closest to the geographical centre of North America at a latitude of 50° 26' and a longitude of 104° 37'. The altitude is 577.4 meters above sea level.

Regina's climate is one of its most exciting features. As the saying goes, "If you don't like the weather in Regina, Regina's location in North Americajust wait ten minutes—it will change!" Canada's prairie region, where Regina is located, is known for its beautiful, warm summers, balmy spring and fall seasons, and lengthy, dry, frosty winters when the temperature has been known to drop below -40° Celsius. Regina enjoys an average of 2,365 hours of sunshine (equivalent to 197 full twelve-hour days) every year. The city gets about 364 millimeters of precipitation annually and has about 113 frost-free days per year.

Regina's parks and recreation system (including almost 5,000 acres of parks and playgrounds) includes numerous public sportsplexes and recreation centres, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, skating and hockey arenas, track and field facilities, plus mile after mile of bicycle and walking paths and cross-country ski trails. Other features of interest include a world-class concert hall, tennis courts, bowling alleys, galleries and museums.

Into His Harvest participants can make use of a number of excellent libraries in Regina. Besides Harvest City's own growing collection of training materials, access to the nine branches of the Regina Public Library is free. Also, a number of local university and community college libraries are accessible with a Public Access Card, which is available for a one-year fee of about $25.

The catalogues of the Regina Public Library and the University of Regina Library may be accessed by computer link from the Into His Harvest facility. This makes it possible for participants to investigate the availability and suitability of materials without having to travel to those libraries in person.
