God… We believe in God the Father, Creator of all things, one eternal God revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Scripture… We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, without error in the original Scriptures, and therefore the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

Sin… We believe in the creation, test and fall of humanity as recorded in the Bible; that in our natural state we humans are spiritually corrupt (sinful) and therefore totally unable to attain divine righteousness and eternal life.

Jesus Christ… We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and one true Saviour, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, very God and very man.

The Gospel… We believe in the Gospel — that Jesus Christ suffered and died by crucifixion to pay the penalty for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead three days later; and that He bodily ascended to heaven to sit forever at the right hand of the Father as Lord of all, making intercession for His people.

Salvation… We believe in salvation for sinners, by grace, through faith — that there is no way to receive complete forgiveness and eternal life other than through faith in Jesus Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross for our sins.

Eternity… We believe that after death, believers in Christ experience eternal life in the presence of God (heaven), while those who die as unbelievers suffer eternal separation from God (hell).

Holy Spirit… We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit; that He calls humanity to account regarding sin, righteousness and judgement; that He indwells, empowers and purifies believers, leading them into all truth; and that His charismata (gifts of the Holy Spirit) are for believers today and should be exercised by the church according to the guidelines given in Scripture.

The Church… We believe that all Christian believers belong to one body, the body of Christ or universal church, and that individual believers are to be joined to a local church by development of relationships with other members. We believe that God the Father gave Jesus Christ to be Head of the church, and that the local church is to be self-governing under the direction of God (through Christ) and its elders, yet is to be interdependent and in fellowship with other churches.

Ministry… We believe that each Christian is to be an active, serving participant of his/her local church so that: the believer’s gifts are developed and utilized, producing personal fulfilment; unbelievers are reached for Christ; the church grows and is strengthened; and God is honoured.

Second Coming… We believe that Jesus Christ will personally return in glory and power for His church and will judge all mankind, both living and dead.
