Help every participant gain freedom and maturity in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
Each participant will have opportunity to…
- experience personal victory, healing and deliverance from sin strongholds, past hurts and spiritual oppression;
- build lifestyle disciplines that will foster ongoing growth in wisdom, health and favour with God and others;
- form and strengthen close relationships with the Lord, Christian leaders, peers and others, through which ministry can flow both to and from the participant.
2. EQUIPPING
Prepare participants for works of service (Ephesians 4:12).
Each participant will be offered equipping in the following areas:
a. a sense of destiny in Christ; that is…
- assurance that God has a purpose and plan for him/her;
- knowledge of personal gifts and goals God has given for the fulfilment of his/her destiny; and…
- eagerness to press into God's plan;
b. biblical convictions
- Bible-based worldview and personal philosophy;
- working knowledge of foundational Christian beliefs;
- how to put on the whole armour of God;
c. ministry skills, both taught and caught, including the following:
- Bible research;
- prayer, intercession and worship;
- attitude of a servant;
- interpersonal skills;
- time management;
- use of spiritual gifts;
- flowing in team ministry;
d. ministry experience, including the following:
- on the job experience with fruitful ministries;
- person to person edification;
- witnessing and testimonies;
- word ministry;
- spiritual warfare.
3. LEADERSHIP and OUTREACH
Challenge participants to a life of exploits that reaches out and leads people into life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ and others (Daniel 11:32; John 14:12; 17:3; II Timothy 2:1-3; I Corinthians 9:22; etc.).

- intensity (rigorous schedule, fervent following after God);
- reality (exposure to real world situations and demands);
- novelty (going beyond the comfort zone, pressing the envelope);
- maturity (much contact with godly role models).
