Into His Harvest Training School (IHH) was one of six ministries honoured at a “Global Impact Celebration”.
 Getting to know some of the ministry representatives at the GIC Two things were confirmed at the Global Impact Celebration (GIC): the harvest is still plentiful, and the Lord of the harvest is answering His people’s prayers to send labourers “into His harvest” (compare Luke 10:2). There is still a shortage of workers, but accounts of successful outreaches and other exciting happenings at the Celebration indicate that is changing.
The GIC was the climax of the first year of Global Focus at Harvest City Church. Global Focus is an outreach mobilization process offered to local churches by a ministry of the same name (see http://www.globalfocus.info). Harvest City Church began the process with over a year of praying, strategizing and organizing that included recognition of six “ministry partners”: - First Bukot Nan Jesus Church of the Marshall Islands in the central Pacific;
- Champion City Church of Edmonton, AB, Canada;
- International Student Ministry, Regina, SK, Canada;
- Love Lives Here ministry, Regina, SK, Canada;
- Morning Star Ministries, Regina, SK, Canada;
- Into His Harvest Training School Regina, SK, Canada.
 Some of the partner ministry representatives during a GIC panel discussion The GIC brought together representatives of those six partner ministries to mingle with the members of Harvest City. Throughout the four-day event the representatives gave reports and imparted vision for what God is doing.The result was a powerful move of the Holy Spirit. At the Celebration’s wind-up event literally hundreds of attendees offered themselves at the altar to serve in the advancing of God’s kingdom. Also, a “Faith Commitment Offering” of close to $170,000 was received. Clearly Jesus is rousing His people to “Go…and make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19a). IHH will continue to be involved through training and sending willing workers. (For example, see the new Ministry Connections page.) Into His Harvest gives a heartfelt “Thank you!” to all those who offered encouragement, assistance and finances at the Global Impact Celebration. We will do our best to see that your contributions result in disciples made, workers trained and the Gospel preached locally, regionally and around the world.
