FOCUS 2007 logoThis is a prophecy that was given by Dustin Williamson, an Into His Harvest Training School student at the FOCUS Youth Conference at Harvest City Church, November 2007 -- for your encouragement.

You are not a quiet God. You’ve shown me Your heart for this nation, for this generation. Your heart burns with a flame for us that cannot be put out. Though there is nothing You cannot do, I know You will not hold back Your love for us. You cannot hold it inside. It comes out as a yell, shooting forth like fire from the mouth of a dragon. Those who see it are struck with fear, frozen and motionless, and those who try to stop it are consumed. I see a blaze, burning hot with red embers. You are on fire, crying out. Your fire does not crackle, snap and pop, it roars and thunders. These concrete walls of our unbelief begin to melt at the fury of Your passion and rage. An all powerful being rises to the throne. Is this the God we know? Is this the God we claim to worship? Know this: not one worships Him completely. I speak for myself when I say that Christians have been worshiping the wrong God. If we are worshiping a God that we can understand, then we have made Him far too inferior to the real One. We have limited our God in our own minds, and thus broken one of the ten most sacred commands, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” Some may become discouraged at all of theses statements, but why should we be? Our God is bigger than we knew! I cannot say it enough, otherwise I would repeat it. If only you could see the picture in my mind of our God, and even still, it is a pathetic one compared to what we will see when our eyes meet His on His throne. Ask God to show you who He really is! This is my cry to our generation. Our God is not a quiet God! He is stronger than any Spartan, more fearless than the largest armies, and more willing and sacrificial than any superhero or any other fictitious figure we praise so much. He is far beyond them. God alone rides in His chariot of fire, screaming, “MY BELOVED!!!” He is furious against anyone or anything that even so much as pinches His beloved. He says, “How dare you touch my beloved?” Surely Satan’s deeds and those of his angels against the Kings and Queens of God have sealed their fate with no hope of return. Because of their schemes, they have drained every inch of mercy from God’s heart and replaced it with anger towards them. My God is furious for me, and I have felt the vibrations of the heartbeat of God. If you listen close enough, you would realize how far away you can actually feel and hear His heartbeat from. Surely even the vast vacuum of space will not even subdue the smallest ripple of love from the beat of God’s heart. It travels far beyond the infinities of space, beyond its boundaries. And if space has no boundaries, the sound of God’s heartbeat for me still AT LEAST doubles the limitlessness of time and space. No wonder He was promised me the skylines of Heaven, the horizons of His Kingdom. Is it too bold to say that He would even bow down to me? Even now your heart shudders at such a thought. “Lies, blasphemy!” your heart screams. But am I so wrong? Did not Jesus bow down to the feet of his disciples in order to wash them? This is a perfect example of how we cannot fathom God’s love for us. Our brains, much like computers downloaded with too much information, malfunction. We shut down. We push it away. Our hands are not big enough to grasp it. The weight is too much to bench press. It is far heavier than us, His love is far greater than ours, I’m SURE of that. Use whatever metaphors you like to describe God’s love, but you can be sure that you will NEVER love Him as much as He loves you. This is God’s cry to you, He just happened to put it on my heart to give to you, my fellow Christians.
